THE CHALLENGE

Although CallidusCloud was already well known in the sales and marketing vertical, its story needed to be elevated to attract key decision-makers at large enterprises.

 

HOW WE GOT THERE

Next PR designed campaign messaging focused on CallidusCloud’s play in big data for improving sales. They also leveraged the emerging trend of predictive analytics to drive larger conversations around business performance across all departments, not just sales. Discussions centered on how predictive analytics will be used to project future performance of departments, down to individual employees.

 

THE RESULTS

Campaign efforts garnered tier-one coverage in Forbes and VentureBeat, helping fuel ongoing rumors of a possible acquisition. CallidusCloud’s share of voice within the sales performance management industry rose by 7% in a single quarter.

Ultimately, the PR campaign drove CallidusCloud towards a successful exit in January 2018 when the company was acquired by SAP for $2.4 billion.
